The Best
Team USA vs Argentina (9/2/07)
By sheer chance I was in Las Vegas for a bachelor party when Team USA was in an Olympics-qualifying tournament. I will probably always have to watch All-Star games from TV as ticket prices are astronomically high, so this will probably be the closest thing I'll come to one. And, wow, was I not dissappointed! I was literally giddy at the level of play this team was playing at.

Runner Up
Mavericks vs Suns (3/14/07)
There is no secret: I love watching any game that these two teams play. This one was so amazing (double overtime!), with neither team giving an inch, that it should have been the winner of this category. Well, except the wrong team won! It still produced my favorite play of the year (#1 on this great Top 10 video).

The Worst
Warriors vs Mavericks (5/3/07)
I'm happy to say that I've never cried at the result of a basketball game. I have, however, felt absolutely sick to my stomach with disgust and had to remove myself from the room just to feel better. When the 8th seeded Warriors felled my 67-game winning, 1st seeded Mavericks in last year's playoffs I physically couldn't watch the final few moments.

Runner Up
Spurs vs Jazz (5/30/07)
At the end of the fifth and final game in the Western Conference Finals, the entire rest of the playoffs had pretty much been wrapped up. A veteran, championship Spurs team was going to face a young, overacheiving Cavaliers team in the Finals ... and the sweep that followed was to no one's surprise and everyone's boredom.
