George becomes stupid, and the dialogue becomes better. I love the chemistry between George and Jerry, particularly at the beginning. Pretty much a classic in terms of the great moments and catchphrases. "You are a very bad man. Very bad man!"

I remember waiting in anticipation for the Friday night lineup of T.G.I.F., just last we--I mean when I was 10 years old. I can also remember watching the sitcoms that my parents watched; among which were Cheers, Newhart, and a little later came Seinfeld. Well, I don't remember seeing Seinfeld so much as hearing about it. The specifics don't stick after 13 years, but the general feeling was that my parents had discovered something exciting that no one else had (right), something that was novel in the world of TV. I was bemused, and went back to watching Belky's foreigner antics.

"The Robbery" could easily be the episode that set my parents abuzz. That said, this episode did not age as well as I have. The two laughs this episode provides would have gone over my head back then, so I guess my pre-pube self was right--Belky wins.
